Reasons for having treatment:

A Preventative rather than a cure

Most of us will regularly visit the dentist for a check up, or the opticians, or take our cars for a service... so why not have a full body MOT.

Acupuncture is used for a huge variety of ailments in China, and has been for thousands of years. A lot of Chinese people will regularly visit and acupuncturist for a relaxing stress relieving, general maintenance treatment, as well as using acupuncture for specific treatments as ad when needed. The idea being that they won't live with the general aches, pains, stresses, migraines (to name a few) that we may have come to consider normal.

So many people get used to having hayfever at a certain time of the year, not being about to get to sleep at night, even getting up every night to go to the toilet becomes normal.

If you would like more information on how Acupuncuture may help you please contact us, or visit the British Acupuncture website for a list of what Acupuncture can be used for.

Massage is widely used for aches and pains, Tui-na - the massage technique used by Camille, is a Chinese deep tissue massage. In Camille's experience it has proved very effective especially for neck and shoulder tension. Camille commonly combines Acupuncture and Tui-na treatment.
