Tui-na massage
1 hour - £50
30 minutes - £25
Tui-na, translatinging as push-grasp, is an ancient chinese deep tissue massage, concentrating on the same meridians and points as acupuncture.
There are many techniques involved, including: kneeding, chopping, hacking, pressure, rolling fists, pinching and wringing. These movements are used to remove tension in and muscles and blockages in the channels, restoring balance to the body.
The bodies own healing process it stimulated and promoted through use of certain accupressure points. Stagnation is moved from the muscles to encourage free blood flow.
Although primarily a deep tissue massage, pressure can be varied to accomodate each individual.
